Pianist in Residence Announcement 2025-2026
Festival for Creative Pianists and Abundant Silence are thrilled to announce that Daniel Inamorato and Alexa Stier have been selected as FCP & AS's 2025 and 2026 Pianists-in-Residence!
During their one-year residency, they will inspire piano lovers with creativity at the piano and advocate for new music, primarily through the FCP and AS communities. They will actively connect with a diverse group of piano students and teachers via the FCP online platform. Additionally, they will perform a 60-minute recital featuring new piano compositions, including works from the AS catalog, at FCP's in-person festival in Montpelier, VT, in August. As part of their residency, they will also commission a piece from a composer on the AS roster, which will be premiered in an online event, open to the public, at the conclusion of their residency.
