The Festival for Creative Pianists offers and an online community that is available to pianists, educators, teaching artists, and piano enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Discover fun and creative learning activities and challenges, post your latest creative ideas and projects for feedback, share and engage with motivational and inspirational posts, and attend live virtual events. Anyone who joins the Festival for Creative Pianists online community can submit a performance video and/or composition for extensive feedback from teaching artists. This is a virtual version of our in-person program and allows pianists of all ages and levels to take advantage of this unique opportunity from anywhere in the country!

The white page can be daunting, whether you are new to composition or have been composing for many years. Our online community includes composition starters created by professional composers to help inspire your next work!
Challenges
The online community features three levels of creativity challenges to help you sharpen your skills and stretch your creative muscles. Try out a new technique, creative process, or idea in a fun and encouraging environment.
Learning Activities
Engage in a more extensive learning activity to develop a new skill and embark on a creative project. Many of our learning activities will include live virtual events throughout the year.
